Lianne Aharony, Soprano

BIOGRAPHY 

Born in Israel, Lianne Aharony received her B.M from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
Ms. Aharony has sung with orchestras such as The Israeli philharmonic orchestra, The Israeli Symphony Orchestra and the Baroque Orchestra of Jerusalem under the baton of Zubin Mehta, Ronen Borshevsky, Stanly Sperber and others. 
Possessing a talent and career unique in their diversity, Lianne has sung in concert halls in Japan, Portugal, Russia, Italy, Turkey, and in world-acclaimed venues such as the Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln center, the Weill Recital hall of Carnegie Hall, the Wembley Stadium in London and The Culture Palace of Tel Aviv.
Her recent performances include the role of Zerlina with the Manhattan Opera Studio, Gilda in with the New York Lyric Opera Theater and Oscar with Vocal Productions.
Her operatic repertoire also includes Pamina, La Fée, Sister Genovieffa, Nanetta, Fresquitta and more.
As an active performer of contemporary music, she presented the world premiere of Svetova’s Concerto and joined the operatic production of Israel Sharon’s Bald Soprano.
She has been awarded scholarships by the Ronen Foundation of America, the AICF Foundation, the Buchman- Heiman Foundation and the Israeli Vocal Arts Institute.
