Dustin Bartley, Cello
BIOGRAPHY:

Dustin Bartley is a classically trained cellist and New York State certified music teacher. He has studied with Susan Rubner, Mathias Wexler and Maureen Hynes. In addition to cello, Dustin has also been seen performing on a number of other instruments, including trombone and viola da gamba.

Dustin received a Bachelor’s of Music from C.W. Post / Long Island University, with a concentration in music education and performance. He also completed a Master’s degree in Music Theory and Composition while returning to C.W. Post to act as assistant conductor for both the orchestra and symphonic band.

In addition to maintaining a busy teaching schedule in the Huntington area, Dustin has worked in a number of school districts across the island in temporary teaching positions. Most recently, Dustin has worked as an employee of the Mt. Sinai School District, teaching high school orchestra as a temporary leave replacement.

While looking for a more permanent teaching position, Dustin performs in various community groups, including the Northport Symphony Orchestra. He has performed in local theatre productions with groups such as the CM Performing Arts Center and frequently plays with his string quartet at weddings and social functions across Long Island
