Biography:

A graduate of the SUNY Fredonia School of Music, Ryan Mack has been heavily involved in the musical arts as both a performer and educator. While working on his Bachelors degree in Music Education, Ryan performed extensively as a cellist in symphonic orchestra, pit orchestra, chamber ensemble, and solo settings. This included not only standard classical repertoire, but a great amount of jazz and improvisational work as well. In addition Ryan has been a long-time advocate for new music, and has shown this enthusiasm for contemporary music by premiering several new works and student compositions, both as a cellist and a conductor. Currently he is a member of the New York Symphonic Arts Ensemble and a graduate student at the Aaron Copland School of Music, where he is pursuing his Master’s degree in Music Education.
